Stichting WASTE

Stichting WASTE (WASTE), (The Netherlands), is a company devoted to the development projects in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. WASTE’ aims are sustainable improvement of the urban environmebt and amelioration of the living conditions of the low-income population. It is active in four fields: solid waste management and resource recovery, low-cost and ecological sanitation, community based environmental improvement and micro- and small enterprise development. For almost 20 years now, WASTE has been working on pro-poor urban infrastructure for the citizens of the economically less developed urban areas, with a focus on waste management and sanitation.

The consortium gathered for ISSOWAMA comprises leader organisations from European and Asian countries with years of proven experience in ISWM, universities, NGOs, municipalities, industrial associations and SMEs.
